The meals exceeded my expectations in quality. The large pieces of chicken and hamburger in the bulk packages looked like big pieces of REAL chicken and hamburger, they tasted roasted and flavorful. The tater tot hotdish tasted like tater tots and had the correct texture, and it was incredibly seasoned. The breakfast scramble also looked and tasted fantastic, though I added hot sauce for extra flavor.

On my recent trip to the BWCA, I added roasted chicken to ramen noodles and some peanut butter, which my kids loved. The chicken rehydrated perfectly, and the sizable pieces looked appetizing! I usually use canned chicken packets, but this one was far superior in taste, texture, and appearance.

These meals are far superior to those carried by big names like REI or the other local competitors I won't name here. I am excited to see what new options come out next and I know I will be placing another order before my next trip.

I was able to order the 3 pack when it finally went live! Let me tell you, this was an amazing deal! I couldn't believe the price was so much cheaper then stuff at the store.

Shipping was super quick. Instructions were great on the package! Food was good! I'll definitely be picking up more for hunting and camping.

I can't wait until they launch more recipes!

"I’ve tried a couple of the different meals that Vodes Preparedness offers and you would never guess that they were dehydrated meals after you heat them up and are eating them. They have great flavor and taste homemade. The packaging is great and the instructions are easy to follow. Definitely a great option for camping or also having meals on hand in case of an emergency. Highly recommend!"
